You can eat and drink here even if you don't visit the house (though you should as it's quite good). The food was great, as was the cappuccino. The prices were good and the service was friendly.
Before our trip, if you would have told me the George Washington Coffee House would be my favorite restaurant while in Barbados I don’t think I would have believe you but wow don’t miss this spot! Their service was attentive and quick, drinks were great, but the food was the star. We ordered the arepas and cachapas and would do so again they were so delicious. The museum was also great too, don’t miss out!
The breakfast menu is amazing here and heaven for vegetarians like us. We tried various vegetarian options and surprisingly all were super delicious. The kids loved it a lot too. Would definitely recommend trying it out.
Beautiful cafe with lotsa outdoor seating and right across from a horse race track! Had yum breakfast which included green juice, vegetable omelette - very filling, chicken empanadas- with yum cilantro cream, tostones with black beans and feta - yummy! French toast with pecans and bananas with served as dessert, and arepas with scrambled eggs, pulled chicken , plantains etc. worth a try. Would revisit.
We went to see the horses at Pebble beach then looked for somewhere for breakfast. Checked the reviews and picked here. Glad we did. The breakfast veg omelette was huge and filled with peppers, onions and spinach with toast on the side. The waffles were excellent. Staff friendly and warming. Great place for a great coffee and food. Highly recommend.
Of all the places my family and I ate at during our time in Barbados a month ago, this place was number one in terms of service and hospitality. Our servers were Jazaria and Camilla and they made sure that we were catered to from the moment we arrived until we departed. Not only was the service great, but the food was delicious. We ordered the omelette, arepas, and French toast and everything was good! Make sure you pay them a visit if you’re in Bridgetown! You won’t be disappointed.
They serve fancy-plated, delicious Caribbean food prepared in a modern fusion style for about the price of a grilled fish dinner in Oistins. The portions are smaller, but the high quality more than makes up for it. This is one of the best values we’ve found on the island.
